After breakfast, take a scenic domestic flight or drive through the lush Ugandan countryside to Bwindi. En route, pass through tea plantations, banana groves, and rolling hills before arriving at your forest lodge near the park entrance. Spend the evening preparing for your trek with a briefing from your guide.

Wake up early for the highlight of your journey — gorilla trekking. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you'll be assigned a gorilla family and led into the forest by experienced trackers. Trekking can take 2 to 6 hours depending on the group’s location. Once found, you’ll spend a magical hour observing them — watching juveniles play, silverbacks guard, and mothers nurture. Return to the lodge for a hot meal and well-earned rest.

Spend the day immersing yourself in local culture. Visit the Batwa pygmy community, the forest’s original inhabitants, and learn about their traditional forest survival skills. Alternatively, take a guided nature walk to spot birds, butterflies, and rare flora, or enjoy a peaceful day at the lodge. Optional second gorilla trek (at additional cost) is also possible.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe via domestic flight or road. Optional stopovers can include Lake Bunyonyi or Queen Elizabeth National Park for added safari experiences. Arrive in Entebbe in time for your onward flight home.
